what bad economy? it seems like everyone had the best Christmas!!!

this was probably the best Christmas ever!!! even though brenna is our only child, my gosh, she got enough presents to last her a lifetime...lol. i don't recall ever getting that many gifts when i was that young!

she got a kitchen, elmo live, a tricycle, vacuum, about 5 dolls, books, giftcards, bath toys, a tent, a diego laptop, dora stuff, dvd's, toys, toys & more toys!!! what's funny is that she didn't care to play with any of her toys, she just wanted to sit in her tent ALLLL day long!!

i was pretty surprised about my gift - i got a Nikon SLR camera. dustin had been saving up for months to get me that camera. it looks so confusing, i told him that i hope he reads the instructions and then explain it to me......too many things to learn!!! the camera is freakin huge!! i don't know how i'm going to tote that big thing around??? but anyways, when i opened the gift, i think i hurt his feelings a little bit b/c i specifically told him please don't buy me anymore electronics and what does he do? buys me ANOTHER electronic that i'm going to have to learn how to use.........but he did good, i love it!!

i bought dustin a camo turkey shotgun that he's been wanting. that crazy gun cost me $399 and after i had purchased it from Academy (by the way, NO RETURNS) he had told me he saw the same gun at walmart for $300??? WHAT?? i was sooo mad b/c i didn't take the time to find the best price, i just went to the place that i knew would definitely have the gun and that was Academy and there are only 2 walmarts in birmingham that carry guns, so oh well....got jiffed about $100 :( but anyways - he was extremely happy about the gun and he deserved it too! he works too hard for his money and he never buys himself something nice, so i wanted to surprise him! THANK GOD THERE ARE NO MORE HOLIDAYS COMING UP FOR AWHILE!!!!!!!

we had a great christmas holiday - we got to spend it with both sides of our families!!! i'm happy, my family's happy & i know everyone else is happy!
