it's been a great weekend and i'm glad that i got to spend time with my family! last night we had some people over and played rockband till 2 am!!! it is so much fun! i'm a terrible singer but oh well, i didn't care who heard me b/c i was having fun. the drums are the hardest for me but i like the guitar....

so anyways, yesterday brenna was holding her diaper going "uh oh uh oh" so i asked her if she wanted to sit on the potty and she giggled. so i put her on the "big toilet" and she sat there for about 5 minutes but didn't do anything. then i knew - it was time to finally buy her a potty!! i asked her if she wanted an elmo potty or a princess potty and she said princess! so we went to walmart and they only had a plain pink one for a girl and since she told me she wanted a princess potty, i bought some princess stickers and placed them all over her potty. SHE LOVED IT! she asks me about 10 times a day, potty potty. she still hasn't gone in the potty yet, but it's a start. at least she's learning and telling me. gosh, she's growing up too fast :( i can't believe she will be 2 in march already!

later today i'm probably going to file our tax returns online. i filed them last year by myself and it went smoothly, so hopefully it will go the same for this year too. i like to get it done quick so we can get our refund back soon. if you wait last minute along with the other millions of people that procrastinate, it might take longer to get your refunds back b/c of all the tax returns they're getting at the same time. so i say to go ahead and file them sooner than later.
