poor brenna!

when i went to pick brenna up from my parent's house yesterday, my mom told me she kept grabbing her diaper and saying ouch, ouch and crying. she told me i probably needed to get her checked out b/c she could have a bladder infection. well all through out the night, i guess every time she would pee, she would scream and hold her diaper and so i called the nurse and she told me to put baking soda in her bath water and let her sit in it to ease the pain. i tried that and she FREAKED out and didnt want to sit in the water. so today i took off of work and took her to see the doc. the nurse put a bag around her area and then put her diaper on over it. i can tell brenna had to pee and i guess she got scared b/c the bag was around her but finally after an hour she went. the test results came back and everything was normal...no infection!!! Thank God!!!
the doc asked if she took a lot of bubble baths and yes of course she takes like 2-3 bubble baths a week and he told me to stop the bubble baths b/c of the chemicals in it and that's why she was irritated down there and it would burn her every time she would pee.

so words of advice for people with kids or planning to have kids - no bubble baths, don't risk it!

i think boys tend to get yeast infections from taking bubble baths and girls tend to get infections or irritation. but of course, girls tend to get it more than boys.....i'm just glad it wasn't an infection. my poor baby :(
