City Fest

had a lot of fun at City Fest in Alabaster on saturday. we got there at 4pm and boy was that a mistake! i was sweating like a dog! but around 5 or so it got pretty shady & windy and it felt sooo much better. we set up our chairs close to the stage and they had some country bands and also Tonic was there! brenna had a great time playing w/ all of the little junkie toys we bought her. she wouldn't go into the inflatable jumping things they had around (scaredy cat just like her daddy) LOL.

there were so many vendors there like Jim n' nicks, full moon bbq, dip & dots, funnel cakes, snow cones, lemonade stands, etc. they also had stands set up w/ vendors trying to sell purses, sunglasses, jewelry, shoes, etc. I really wanted to buy this cute dress that I saw for brenna but it was $30 and they only take cash!! we weren't expecting to bring that much cash to the festival but we should have.

ughhhhh i felt sick when i got home b/c i'm not used to mixing different foods & drinks. i had an italian sausage dog, then lemonade, then a cookie, then a snow cone.......felt nauseas afterwards!

my parents went, my in-laws, my sis & her fam & our friends lee & aundria met us up there. almost everyone left a little early but we stayed w/ lee & aundria till about 9:30 or so.

it was a great getaway and it gave us something to do. wish there are more festivals like that around besides city stages....yuck i can't go there anymore.....too many dirty drunks around at city stages!
