Gatlinburg Trip!

A Rainbow!!!

































Dustin, Brenna and I spent July 4th in Gatlinburg, TN. I've never been there and dustin has been wanting to take me there, so we decided to go during July 4th since he was off for 2 wks and I had a long wkend off of work. We had the best time and we did so much in 3 days: sight seeing in the mountains, wax museum, aquarium, museums, arcades, and swimming! oh and we also did the "old time" photo and all 3 of us dressed up. brenna and i wore southern belle type costumes and dustin was a cowboy. brenna did so good, she held a gun and she took great photos! i wish i could post those pics but they're too big and i can't scan them.

boy did we buy so much junk!! you can't help it b/c every store you walk by they are selling jewelry, clothes, candy, sweets, souveniers and more and more junk! but it's no fun if you don't buy anything. can't wait to go back but i might wait until the winter when it's snowing and we can stay in a cabin. we ended up staying in a hotel on the strip so that way we could just walk out onto the strip and not have to drive anywhere. we heard there were about 20,000 people staying around that area during July 4th. i didn't know it was going to be a big blow out. the city put on a parade that friday night and they shot fireworks on saturday. there was always something to do and we NEVER got bored! it was definitely worth the $$ and a great family trip together.


I told dustin that our family rule is that we HAVE to take at least one vacation a year....it's good for families and boy did we need it!!!
